Sigma Computing is seeking a Business Development Representative to join their sales team. This role focuses on identifying and qualifying sales-ready opportunities, partnering with Account Executives, and driving new business. The company is an AI apps and analytics platform connected to cloud data warehouses, enabling users to build AI applications. The role involves cold calling, consultative selling, and using CRM tools. While the company heavily utilizes AI, this specific role is in sales and business development, not directly building AI models or systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partnering with Account Executives to identify high-priority target accounts
  2. Prospecting, educating, and qualifying those accounts to create sales-ready opportunities
  3. Cold calling contacts and running outbound prospecting sequences in Outreach
  4. Overcoming objections through consultative selling
  5. Becoming a trusted advisor by growing relationships with prospects
