Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative (BDR) at Braze is responsible for identifying target accounts, developing outreach campaigns, engaging C-suite prospects, demonstrating the value of Braze's customer engagement platform, and qualifying early-stage deals. This role focuses on generating high-quality relationships and new business opportunities by researching accounts, creating communication plans, and conducting high-level conversations with executives about their business goals and challenges. The ultimate goal is to generate the volume and value of deals required to hit quota.

What you'd actually do

  1. Research accounts, develop and action a communication plan (via phone, email, LinkedIn, video etc) to generate new business opportunities (pipeline).
  2. Manage their own meetings, and bring in other internal stakeholders as needed.
  3. Conduct high-level conversations with C-suite executives about their business goals, customer engagement and marketing challenges/opportunities with a view to understanding and ‘qualifying’ the opportunity.
  4. Deliver value-orientated pitches and solution demonstrations.
  5. Generate the volume and value of deals required to hit their quota, and bring great new brands to Braze!
