Fivetran is seeking a Commercial Business Development Representative to join their team in Japan. This role will focus on building strong opportunities in key target accounts by working closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Partner teams. Responsibilities include outbound calling, video prospecting, crafting compelling messaging, and qualifying leads to initiate high-quality conversations for Account Executives. The position operates within the Marketing organization but collaborates closely with the GTM Sales Org, focusing on identifying key decision-makers, mapping enterprise/commercial accounts, and generating meetings within Fortune 100 companies to drive new logo acquisition and pipeline momentum. The role offers a base salary plus uncapped commission and a clear growth path.

What you'd actually do

  1. Hunting & Outbounding - Account mapping into large enterprise or commercial companies while prospecting and generating meetings with all levels of employees from C-Level to data analysts.
  2. Outbound prospecting into Named accounts: This person should have experience prospecting into Enterprise or Commercial customers, identifying key decision makers, understanding their challenges and securing sales qualified opportunities.
  3. They should be well versed with selling into the Fortune 100.
  4. Experienced in VP- and IC-level pitches.
  5. Demonstrate a deep interest in our Enterprise and Commercial customers' data challenges and pain points while being able to give an intro of what Fivetran does at an enterprise and commercial level with the ultimate goal of setting up valuable engagements with our account executives.
