Business Development Representative (BDR) for Temporal, an open-source programming model aiming to simplify code and improve application reliability. The role focuses on driving growth by connecting with potential customers, generating leads, and building sales pipelines. What you'd actually do

  1. Proactively outbound prospecting and lead activity management in an effort to qualify and market Temporal to potential customers.
  2. Discover opportunities from leads and set appointments from those leads.
  3. Use of strong selling and influencing skills to set up qualified appointments.
  4. Understand the Temporal OSS and Cloud solutions enough to provide high level introduction.
  5. Leverage taught sales techniques to maximize customer interactions.

Skills

Required

  • 1 to 2+ years of experience in prospecting roles
  • Reading, writing, and speaking French fluency
  • Excellent in-person, phone, and written customer communication skills
  • Ability to make formal and informal presentations to staff and clients
  • Proficient PC, Spreadsheet, Salesforce.com, and Google Docs skills required
  • Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and be self-motivated
  • Prior track record of achievement in positions with accountability
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Proactive, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude
