Business Development Representative, Uber for Business

This role is for a Business Development Representative supporting the Uber for Business sales team. The primary responsibilities include outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and pipeline generation to achieve sales goals. It is a sales support role with a focus on business development and lead generation.

What you'd actually do

  1. Generate new business opportunities to fuel the pipeline in an assigned vertical or territory and partner with assigned Account Executives
  2. Research and develop our accounts Outbound prospecting via cold calling, email, and marketing campaigns
  3. Hit assigned Key Performance Metrics that are not limited to, but including, the generation of Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), the contribution of pipeline through size of opportunity and total Gross Bookings from closed opportunities.
  4. Uncover a prospect's business challenges and identify relevant new business opportunities, while highlighting the Uber for Business value proposition
  5. Conduct high-level conversations with senior executives.

Skills

Required

  • 1+ years of Sales or customer service experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization, project management, time-management skills, and ability to take initiative
