Business Development Representative, Uber for Business

This role is for a Business Development Representative supporting the Uber for Business sales team. The primary responsibilities include generating qualified leads through outbound prospecting (calls, email, LinkedIn), understanding the prospect's buying cycle, and ensuring leads are properly qualified for Account Executives. The role also involves managing sales activities in Salesforce and collaborating with internal departments.

What you'd actually do

  1. Generate new business opportunities to fuel the pipeline in an assigned vertical or territory and partner with assigned Account Executives
  2. Research and develop our accounts Outbound prospecting via cold calling, email, and marketing campaigns
  3. Hit assigned Key Performance Metrics that are not limited to, but including, the generation of Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), the contribution of pipeline through size of opportunity and total Gross Bookings from closed opportunities.
  4. Uncover a prospect's business challenges and identify relevant new business opportunities, while highlighting the Uber for Business value proposition
  5. Conduct high-level conversations with senior executives.

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of outbound sales experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have a positive, self-driven team-first mentality with a desire to learn
  • Excellent organization, project management, time-management skills, and ability to take initiative
