This role is for a Business Development Representative at Workday, an AI platform company. The primary responsibility is to build relationships with prospective customers and generate new business opportunities through strategic inbound calling and prospecting. The role involves consultative selling and educating the market on Workday's technology and applications. It is not an AI/ML building role.

What you'd actually do

  1. proactively build relationships with prospects for Workday
  2. dealing closely with our accounts executive team based across EMEA to develop sales activity
  3. apply your consultative selling skills to initiate long-standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors
  4. generate new business opportunities through strategic inbound calling and prospecting into enterprise companies

Skills

Required

  • 1 years of experience in sales, sales development, recruitment, customer service, renewals, consulting, apprenticeships or internships
  • credibility & value proposition: the ability to articulate the value and potential of technology
  • candid communication & trust building: excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • business acumen: ability to absorb new concepts and showcase a passion for innovation in order to delight and inspire our prospect customers
  • accountability: demonstrate a highly motivated, tenacious, and detail-oriented approach to work
