Key responsibilities include defining strategies to grow AMD's server business, conducting market assessments, building partnerships with semiconductor companies and EDA vendors, developing solution sets for EDA/CAE workloads including AI/ML-driven chip design, leading AI solution development with partners, incubating POCs, and enabling sales and marketing efforts.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and implement strategies to grow AMD's server business in the Semiconductor/EDA vertical through a solutions-based approach spanning CPU, GPU, and software.
  2. Conduct competitive, market, and partner capability assessments to shape actionable vertical expansion plans, and build the frameworks (market analysis, vendor evaluation, business case, partnership execution) that support them.
  3. Build and convert the Semiconductor/EDA pipeline through deep partnerships with semiconductor companies, foundries, EDA vendors (e.g., Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens EDA, Ansys), and ecosystem partners.
  4. Develop solution sets tied to key EDA and CAE workloads (e.g., RTL/logic simulation, physical verification, place-and-route, static timing analysis, DRC/LVS, SPICE, emulation, AI/ML-driven chip design), with joint value propositions and go-to-market plans to accelerate growth.
  5. Lead development of vertical-specific AI solutions in collaboration with ecosystem partners.
