The ARCADE Science and Analytics team needs a Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to drive our analytical solutions. This team supports Multichannel Fulfillment (MCF), Amazon Supply Chain Solutions (ASCS), and Buy with Prime (BwP) businesses. We seek a BIE who will identify business opportunities through data-driven insights, create predictive models for supply chain optimization, and analyze customer behavior patterns.
The ideal candidate will build and deploy analytical solutions at scale while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You should have statistical analysis expertise, proficiency in SQL and Python, and experience with data visualization. Your technical skills should be complemented by a good understanding of business metrics and KPIs.
Industry experience in eCommerce, transportation, finance, retail technology, or logistics is preferred. Join our team of engineers and data scientists to transform how Amazon serves its customers through data-driven decisions.
Key job responsibilities • Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, and dashboards enabling stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions. • Work with PMs in understanding the business requirements and implementing solutions to support analytics and reports. • Conduct ad hoc data analysis and data quality investigations. • Implement training and documentation solutions that enables stakeholders to get the most out of our self-serve reporting tools. • Develop and support the analytical technologies that give our customers timely, flexible and structured access to their data. • Defining, developing and maintaining critical business and operational reports reviewed on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis • Analysis of historical data to extract meaningful insights and learnings from large and complicated data sets identify trends and support decision making, including written and verbal presentation of results and recommendations • Collaborating with software development teams to implement analytics systems and data structures to support large-scale data analysis and delivery of machine learning models • Understanding of Amazon’s data resources, which to use, how, and when

Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared)
- Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree, or Advanced technical degree
- Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design
- Experience with statistical analysis, co-relation analysis

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
