This role is for a Business Intelligence Senior Analyst who will lead the "Analysis" area within the BI team. The candidate will be responsible for establishing the foundation and direction of the analysis function, creating the analysis area from scratch, ensuring data cleanliness, obtaining impactful insights, and outlining next steps for the business. Responsibilities include refining requirements, translating business needs into BI solutions, developing user learning materials, conducting data profiling and analysis, creating actionable dashboards and reports, performing statistical analysis, collaborating with data engineers, and developing expertise in the data ecosystem and emerging BI technologies like AI. The role also involves developing and maintaining BI platform operations and administration procedures. Requires 6+ years of experience in Analytics or BI, proficiency in SQL, Data Analysis, and Dashboard Building, strong Business Acumen, and Leadership/Management Skills. Python, Looker, Tableau, and Project Management are nice to have.

What you'd actually do

  1. Works directly with internal customers to refine requirements and validate output to ensure solutions will meet expectations.
  2. Apply technical knowledge to translate business needs into BI solutions
  3. Develop and improve user learning materials, FAQs, checklists that fosters self-service and self-sufficiency
  4. Conduct moderate to complex data profiling and analysis to evaluate data sources to determine the best source for business information
  5. Acquiring, transforming and translating data into actionable dashboards, reports, or datasets that has a substantial impact on the functional area of support
