This role is a Business Management Manager 1 at Northrop Grumman, focusing on leading financial aspects of programs within the Navigation, Intelligence & Connectivity Division. What you'd actually do

  1. Program resource management, including cost estimation, allocation, tracking, and analysis
  2. Subcontractor invoicing and funding
  3. Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) preparation and review
  4. Management and development of Program Control Analyst (PCA) staff
  5. Preparation and presentation of financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of industry related experience in finance, accounting or program control - OR a Masters degree with 3 years of experience as described
  • Working knowledge of government Cost Accounting Standards, and the FAR
  • Prior experience with government program budgeting and forecasting, as well as Annual Operating Plan development
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and SAP (or similar)
  • Prior experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team and/or management.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
  • Current US Government Secret security clearance

Nice to have

  • MBA or CPA certification
  • Experience with Earned Value Management
  • Understanding of DOD contracts
  • Previous experience managing/supervising a program, project, or personnel. This may be a lead position on a team.
  • Experience with Cognos and 1ERP Systems
