This is a Business Management Manager 2 position at Northrop Grumman, focused on overseeing program-related business management activities, ensuring financial goals are met, and managing a team of program control analysts. The role requires experience in Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Federal Cost Principles, Forward Pricing Rate proposals (FPRPs), and Earned Value Management (EVM). It involves financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, with a strong emphasis on leadership and team development. The position requires a Top-Secret clearance and involves travel.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead a team of Program Control Analysts in executing a broad scope of business management activities to support program execution and compliance
  2. Provide business oversight, interface with applicable stakeholders, customers and auditors (internal and external) and assist with Supplier Management Team needed to ensure sound business deals
  3. Interface with diverse functional areas to ensure risks are understood and financial performance is achieved.
  4. Develop and motivate a productive staff in a team environment with excellent interpersonal, planning, presentation and organizational skills with focused emphasis on continuous process improvement
  5. Must be willing to travel approximately 10% of time

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of finance, accounting, business management or program control experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of finance, accounting, business management or program control experience
  • Leadership experience or people management experience
  • Earned Value Management (EVMS) experience

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree and 10+ years of related aerospace industry experience
  • Intermediate, to advanced-level of understanding of the following systems or software is beneficial: COBRA (or similar project management software), SAP, S/4, Microsoft Excel, and Office Analysis
  • Understanding of DoD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, Commercial contracts, or FAR
  • Working knowledge of Government financial CDRL’s
  • Experience working with Full Flow down Earned Value
