Business Manager VP role supporting Client Onboarding & Documentation, AI for Operations initiatives, and the Chief Data & Analytics Officer for Operations and Client Service within JPMorgan Chase's Commercial & Investment Bank. The role focuses on driving transformation projects, shaping product and operations strategy, and delivering insights to achieve operational excellence and business outcomes. Responsibilities include partnering with leaders on objectives and roadmaps, leading transformation initiatives (including AI/automation use cases), managing headcount and expenses, developing business cases, running investment governance, building metrics frameworks, analyzing data, and preparing executive materials. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience in financial services in business management, operations/product management, strategy/consulting, or transformation roles, with strong financial acumen and data literacy.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with senior leaders to define objectives, targets, and metrics, translating strategy into actionable roadmaps and measurable outcomes
  2. Lead or support operations product and transformation initiatives, including process re-engineering, digitization, AI/automation use cases, and location planning, from problem framing through benefits realization
  3. Own headcount and expense forecasting in partnership with Finance; support annual budgeting and business reviews
  4. Manage allocations and activity-based costing; support cost-to-serve modeling and benchmarking to inform pricing and investment priorities
  5. Develop business cases and investment memos, including options analysis, financial models, risks, and success metrics

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years of experience in financial services or adjacent industries in business management, operations/product management, strategy/consulting, or transformation roles
  • Demonstrated experience leading operations product or transformation efforts with measurable outcomes
  • Proven ability to craft investment-grade business cases and executive-ready materials; strong financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, allocations, and cost modeling
  • Advanced data literacy: ability to structure analysis, interpret complex data, and translate insights into decisions; comfort partnering with data & analytics teams
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills for senior audiences
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across multiple levels and functions; ability to influence without direct authority
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
