Business Operations & Automation Manager

This role focuses on identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing automation and AI-powered solutions to improve business processes within Expedia Group's consumer business. The manager will lead projects from concept to deployment, collaborate with product and technical teams, and measure the impact of these initiatives.

What you'd actually do

  1. Analyze operational data and workflows to surface inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas with high automation potential.
  2. Rapidly document and evaluate existing processes across global tech and business teams, identifying opportunities for AI enablement and simplification.
  3. Gather and document clear requirements for automation.
  4. Develop clear, metrics-driven business cases for AI, automation, and process improvement initiatives.
  5. Lead end-to-end improvement projects—from design and proof of concept to full deployment and impact measurement.
