Business Operations Program Manager- Global Growth & Revenue Optimization (ggro)

Microsoft Microsoft · Big Tech · Redmond, WA +4 · Business Program Management

This role is a Business Operations Program Manager focused on Global Growth & Revenue Optimization (GGRO) for Azure's infrastructure portfolio. The core responsibilities involve executing pricing actions, managing product and region launches, coordinating cross-functional teams, and improving operational processes related to pricing and monetization. While the role operates within the Cloud and AI Platforms Monetization (CAPM) organization and deals with Azure's infrastructure, it is not directly involved in building or researching AI/ML models. The focus is on the business operations and commercialization aspects of AI-related products, rather than the AI development itself.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the end-to-end execution of pricing actions across Azure infrastructure (Compute, Storage, Networking), including price changes, new SKU pricing, regional pricing, and competitive adjustments. Ensure pricing is validated, accurately reflected in commerce systems, and launched on schedule.
  2. Drive the operational lifecycle for new product launches and regional expansions—from scoping through meter minting, change request (CR) execution, triage, and post-launch validation. Coordinate across cross functional teams, and engineering systems to ensure seamless execution.
  3. Serve as the operational connective tissue between Business Planning, Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams. Manage dependencies, escalate blockers, and keep launches moving through a complex, matrixed environment.
  4. Identify bottlenecks, rework patterns, and inefficiencies in pricing and launch workflows. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce cycle time, improve accuracy, and scale execution capacity—partnering with tooling and automation teams where applicable.
  5. Control meter launch quality to drive meter price accuracy and ensure compliance with price principles, commerce guardrails and standard workflows
