This role is for a Senior Business Operations Specialist at Boeing, focusing on Work Statement Management for Product Development. What you'd actually do

  1. Leads and support Work Statement Management for Product Development
  2. Supports cross-functional integration of Long Range Business Planning for Product Development.
  3. Partners with Integrated Product Team leaders to interpret, assess, and make recommendations based upon financial performance reports.
  4. Assist in developing and maintaining cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines to ensure accurate tracking, forecasting and reporting Leads integration of variance analyses and provides insights on financial performance to senior and executive management.
  5. Makes recommendations to senior management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of experience with program management best practices
  • 7+ years working with cross-functional teams
  • Experience interacting and presenting to executive level leadership
  • Familiarity with formal change control or governance processes (e.g., Change Control Board, baseline management)

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Boeing processes, standards, and site governance
  • PMI certification (Project Management)
  • Experience MS&I/Communication planning experience, as well as a background in stakeholder engagement
  • Experience with work statement control, work statement management, directives and other business operations related processes
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Experience in finance, cost accounting, or related field
  • Experience working in a dynamic work environment, to include managing multiple priorities
  • Experience working on airplane programs, in a manufacturing environment and/or supporting the production system
  • Understanding of the production system value stream, i.e., sales, engineering, supply chain, production, etc
