This role is a Business Operations Specialist at Boeing, focusing on project portfolio management, structured governance, and change control within the Fabrication Electrical Capability team. What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with leaders on long-range strategy, goals, and initiatives; evaluate strategic issues and recommend implementation.
  2. Develop and integrate programs, plans, and processes to meet business goals (sourcing, cost control, deployment, impact mitigation).
  3. Validate analyses and scope with business partners and build/maintain business cases.
  4. Coordinate commitments across internal and external stakeholders to execute strategies.
  5. Identify risks and opportunities; develop mitigations and refine business cases.

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years relevant experience with program management and best practices
  • 3+ years leading integration across cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills and experience presenting to executive level leadership
  • Familiarity with formal change control or governance processes (e.g., Change Control Board, configuration/change management)

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of related work experience or bachelor’s degree in business, Industrial Engineering, General Management, Facilities, or a related field; advanced degree (MS, MBA) or or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with electrical systems or wire shops
  • Familiarity with Boeing processes, standards, and site governance
  • Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals
  • Experience working across multiple programs and/or functions in a manufacturing environment
