Business & Process Improvement Analyst, Amazon Key for Business

This role focuses on business and process improvement within Amazon Key's operations, leveraging AI tools to identify automation opportunities and streamline processes. The analyst will also be responsible for business reporting and defining dashboard requirements, working under the guidance of senior team members. The ideal candidate is analytically curious and eager to drive operational improvements.

What you'd actually do

  1. Create and maintain SOPs and best practices for operational workflows across regions, ensuring consistency in process execution across EU, NA, JP, and AU. Document and share learnings to build institutional knowledge across the team
  2. Support the development of new metrics to measure operational effectiveness
  3. Propose data-driven actions to improve processes at scale
  4. Leverage AI tools to identify automation opportunities and streamline cross-functional processes
  5. Explore and pilot new tools or workflows that reduce manual effort and improve accuracy
  6. Own recurring business reporting (bi-weekly updates, MBR inputs)
  7. Prepare materials for business reviews, communicating results clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders
  8. Define dashboard requirements and follow up on data validation with BI teams
  9. Maintain centralized documentation and reporting repositories
  10. Support ad hoc data analysis requests to inform business decisions

Skills

Required

  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
  • Experience with written and verbal communication and presentation
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze large sets of data
  • Eagerness to learn and apply AI tools to improve processes
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work across teams and time zones

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in Business, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Science, Statistics, or Symbolic Systems
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or a related field
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI or other BI packages
  • Experience in process design and documentation
  • Experience working cross-functionally and across regions
