This role focuses on modeling business processes, identifying bottlenecks, and designing improved future-state journeys to enable operational excellence, risk management, and automation. What you'd actually do

  1. Create BPMN- or DMN-compliant diagrams, including events, tasks, gateways, subprocesses, swimlanes, message flows, and data objects
  2. Define process hierarchies, value streams, and capability maps aligned to business architecture and strategic outcomes
  3. Lead discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews with subject matter experts and executives and synthesize inputs into accurate, governed models and narratives
  4. Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and developers to align models with change initiatives
  5. Document risks, controls, service levels, key performance indicators, handoffs, systems, and data objects with traceability to policies and regulatory requirements

Skills

Required

  • College-level education
  • At least 2 years of applied experience in process modeling using applicable tools
  • Ability to create BPMN and DMN process models that document both current-state and future-state workflows
  • Experience leading process discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews and producing clear process narratives
  • Ability to translate process models into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for delivery teams
  • Strong knowledge of Home Lending processes
  • Demonstrated knowledge of delivering or supporting process innovation initiatives (for example, workflow improvement, automation, data transformation, or generative AI-enabled improvements)
  • Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and succinctly
  • Ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
