This role implements classical ML models and LLM-based inferences for business problems within Amazon's Retail Business Systems group. Responsibilities include model development, prompt engineering, offline evaluation, and collaboration on production deployment and monitoring. What you'd actually do

  1. Implement machine learning models (classical ML covering classification and regression models) using Python and ML frameworks
  2. Develop and iterate prompts for LLMs using few-shot, CoT, and instruction-based techniques
  3. Conduct offline evaluations and benchmarking / testing on LLM and ML outputs
  4. Collaborate with engineers to deploy models in production and monitor performance
  5. Document experiments and results; participate and brief milestones in weekly sprint planning and model reviews
