Business Selection & Conflicts Group - Vice President (disclosure Team)

This role is within Bank of America's Business Selection & Conflicts Group (BSC) in Investment Banking. The Vice President will assist deal teams in reviewing and disclosing material relationships, preparing disclosure statements, and liaising with outside counsel. The role also involves leading the conflict clearance process, requiring strong analytical skills, M&A/capital markets experience, and effective communication in a time-sensitive environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. reviewing and disclosing our material relationships with various potential parties to a transaction
  2. Preparing and revising drafts of disclosure statements
  3. Liaising with outside counsel on material relationships disclosure in fairness opinions and proxy statements and coordinating with M&A deal teams during the lifespan of a transaction
  4. take a leading role in BSC’s conflict clearance process, interacting frequently with investment bankers globally as well as internal support partners
