This role leads a centralized operations function for Project Managers within RTX's Business Solutions portfolios, focusing on consistent standards, processes, tools, and governance to improve performance, predictability, and scalability. It involves overseeing project delivery, developing standardized methodologies, coordinating with the ES PMO, and driving the adoption of new tools and capabilities.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build and lead a centralized Business Solutions Operations function that provides consistent standards, onboarding, processes, and tools for all Project Managers across Business Solutions portfolios.
  2. Oversee Project Managers delivering efficiency, optimization, and cross‑functional improvement projects across Business Solutions.
  3. Develop and institutionalize standardized methodologies, templates, reporting mechanisms, and governance practices aligned with ES PMO requirements.
  4. Serve as the primary point of contact and coordination channel with ES PMO for tool rollouts, process changes, compliance updates, and reporting.
  5. Drive the adoption of new PMO tools, platforms, and capabilities, ensuring accurate deployment and consistent usage across all PMs and portfolios.

What the JD emphasized

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
