This role supports the Solutions Success Hub team by designing, building, and maintaining demo environments for Workday's product portfolio, with a focus on Core HCM, Talent, Learning, and Compensation. The role involves applying new features, updating configurations, refreshing data, and supporting Solution Consultants on key deals. A key aspect is ensuring demo environments reflect Workday's AI enhancements and using AI/automation to improve demo build and update processes. The role also manages demo tenant quality, builds use cases, maintains documentation, and collaborates with other teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Perform recurring build and update work across your product areas, including applying new features, updating configurations, and refreshing and validating data each release.
  2. Support Solution Consultants on key deals by preparing demo tenants, setting up data and scenarios, troubleshooting issues, and occasionally joining customer calls when deeper tenant knowledge is needed.
  3. Help support Workday’s evolving AI path by ensuring our demo environments reflect how AI is enhancing Workday, and by using AI and automation to improve recurring build work, release updates, and deal support activities.
  4. Manage end-to-end demo tenant quality by building use cases, maintaining documentation and demo scripts, and executing testing and validation so changes do not break existing flows.
  5. Improve repeatable processes, checklists, and tooling that make recurring build and update work more efficient, consistent, and well documented.

Skills

Required

  • Experience working with Workday or similar HCM/enterprise applications in roles such as solution consulting, presales support, HR practitioner/HRIS, or enterprise application implementation
  • Hands-on experience in Core HCM, plus at least one additional area such as Talent, Learning, or Compensation
  • Clear written documentation skills, including internal how-tos, checklists, release notes, or knowledge articles
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a self-starter mindset and the ability to manage your own workload with limited day-to-day oversight
  • 2-3 years in a solutions based position

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is a plus; equivalent practical experience is also welcomed
  • Ability to travel periodically for team meetings and field events, as needed
