Business Systems Analyst role focused on requirements gathering, delivery support, and Agile/Scrum facilitation for enterprise technology initiatives, including platforms like Salesforce, MuleSoft, and Slack. The role requires strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with a focus on ensuring clarity and smooth execution of projects. No hands-on configuration or development is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows. Ensure requirements are complete, unambiguous, and ready for development.
  2. Act as a delivery partner to product owners and delivery teams, ensuring scope, dependencies, assumptions, and integration touchpoints are clearly understood and actively managed throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. Support Agile teams by facilitating or assisting with backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives as needed to maintain effective sprint execution.
  4. Work with product owners to groom and prioritize the backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined, properly sized, and aligned with business and integration objectives.
  5. Serve as a key liaison between business and technology teams, including Salesforce, MuleSoft, and collaboration platform teams. Maintain clear communication, manage expectations, and drive alignment.

Skills

Required

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst in enterprise environments
  • Strong experience working on Agile or Scrum-based projects
  • Demonstrated experience supporting projects that involved Salesforce, MuleSoft, and or Slack, without a requirement for hands-on system configuration or development
  • Proven ability to write clear, detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Experience partnering closely with technical teams, architects, and integration partners
  • Familiarity with Agile and documentation tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving gaps
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field
