Business Systems Analyst III role focused on designing, implementing, and optimizing Workday solutions and processes for Sales Compensation programs. What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday and Sales Compensation systems, processes, and data flows
  2. Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders across Sales, Finance, HR, and Operations teams
  3. Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, and process documentation
  4. Partner with engineering and development teams to design, test, and implement system enhancements and new capabilities
  5. Support the end-to-end sales compensation lifecycle, including plan configuration, calculations, reporting, and payouts

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role
  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday, particularly in HCM or related modules
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience writing user stories, use cases, and functional specifications
  • Experience with Sales Compensation programs, incentive plan design, or commission processing
  • Experience with API integrations or familiarity with integration platforms
  • Experience with Workday Integrations, Workday Extend, or Workday Studio

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with compensation tools such as Varicent, Xactly, Anaplan, or similar
  • T-SQL / SQL Server
