Manages a Manufacturing Business Unit, overseeing daily operations to produce products at minimum costs consistent with quality specifications and production schedules. Participates in strategic decisions and ensures regulatory compliance (ISO, GMP). Responsibilities include process excellence, Six Sigma, managing materials, equipment, and personnel, variance analysis, and developing subordinates.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provides a leadership role in the development and implementation of Process Excellence and Six Sigma standards.
  2. Identifies needs and coordinate the development of support systems, i.e., Documentation, Q.A. Systems.
  3. Ensures sufficient manufacturing materials, equipment, and personnel.
  4. Provides variance analysis and corrective actions.
  5. Manages a customer driven quality plant that ensures regulatory compliance to ISO and GMP requirements.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Bilingual, English and Spanish
  • Understanding of manufacturing shop floor and related computer systems
  • Strong analytical problem solving and interpersonal skills ability
