Business Value Manager - Sao Paulo

This role focuses on quantifying the business value of Datadog's products for customers in LATAM, developing ROI/TCO models, and partnering with sales and CS teams to drive value selling practices. It involves customer-facing assessments, executive presentations, and strategic analysis to support sales opportunities, with a focus on building observability strategies and operationalizing business value programs. The role also contributes to field enablement and external communication of Datadog's value in digital transformation.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead business value assessments for our customers in LATAM, working closely with customers to identify key business drivers and quantify the business value our products deliver to their bottom line
  2. Develop in-depth ROI/TCO value models to quantify business value that can be achieved through our products
  3. Partner with sellers to lead value-based discovery sessions with technical and business stakeholders to drive key objectives and measurable outcomes
  4. Craft and deliver executive level presentations to CxOs
  5. Perform strategic analyses in support of sales opportunities, identifying areas where our products can add value to customers' business operations

Skills

Required

  • 6+ years working in a related field
  • 4+ years experience in running business value assessments
  • management consulting or IT consulting with proven track record of advising senior business stakeholders
  • enterprise sales or other equivalent experience
  • BA in Engineering, Economics, Finance, or other analytical field
  • Outstanding analytical abilities
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptionally strong presenter with demonstrated experience in client-facing role or working with C-suite executives
  • Strategic, consultative mindset
  • Confident in building financial models and analyzing businesses
  • Proficient in Portuguese
  • Proficient in English
