This role is for a Buyer in Federal Technical Procurement at Anduril, a defense technology company. What you'd actually do

  1. Create, issue, and manage purchase orders to meet production and program needs.
  2. Maintain relationships with suppliers, monitor performance, and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, and pricing.
  3. Quickly resolve supply chain disruptions, delivery delays, and quality issues to keep projects on track.
  4. Monitor and expedite orders to meet deadlines and production schedules.
  5. Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to align procurement with company goals.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field
  • 2+ years of supply chain experience, including technical procurement
  • Experience with aerospace/defense industry standards, ITAR compliance, and FAR/DFAR regulations
  • Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
  • Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA
