What you'd actually do

  1. Identify trends by conducting thorough research and a customer mindset.
  2. Partner with suppliers in order to have a consistent in stock rate of key items at the right time for customer demand
  3. Understands the input levers to drive improved customer experience for assigned category
  4. Integrates key metrics with broader business metrics to deliver optimal customer experience
  5. Understands how to gather and analyze internal and competitor merchandise data --Possesses knowledge of ABC categorization and analysis

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5+ years in Buying, Planning or other related Merchandising roles

Nice to have

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze large sets of data
  • Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices
  • Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences
