Your Responsibilities
As a** Product Design Engineer, Operator Station** for John Deere Dubuque Works located in Dubuque, IA, you will:
- Create and modify 3D CAD models and drawings for construction operator station structures.
- Effectively collaborate and communicate with functional team members throughout the PDP process.
- Work with internal and external suppliers to improve the quality and durability of designs.
- Coordinate work instructions and quality validation for contract and ETEC (Enterprise Technology Engineering Center).
- Provide technical support to marketing, product support, manufacturing/assembly, quality and supply management organizations.

- Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%, typically up to 10%
- A strong ability and desire to quickly learn new subject matter and technologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
What Makes You Stand Out
- Basic understanding of GD&T principles and tolerance stack-up analysis
- 1 or more years of experience with 3D CAD modeling software (Creo, etc.)
- 1 or more years of experience with modeling and the manufacturing processes of structures and sheet metal
Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Related engineering degree
