This role is for a CAD Design Engineer specializing in Siemens NX, Capital, and Teamcenter for schematic creation, harness modeling, and drawing creation within the defense technology sector. The engineer will implement, support, and customize these toolsets, develop workflows, and manage PLM data.

What you'd actually do

  1. Specialize in Siemens NX, Capital & Teamcenter implementation and support.
  2. Work side by side with the EWIS team to further expand and support the Siemens NX and Capital tools for harness design at Anduril and support the company mission.
  3. Understand the EWIS design process and develop workflows and best practices for NX and Capital that promote adherence to the process.
  4. Develop and enforce standards for CAD modeling and PLM data entry to ensure consistency.
  5. Customize CAD software to fit specific organizational needs through scripting or programming.
