Calibration Technician (associate or Mid-level)

This role is for a Calibration Technician at Boeing, responsible for calibrating, adjusting, certifying, maintaining, and repairing measurement test and equipment using approved procedures. It also involves logistics for routing calibrated assets and aspects of test asset and property management. The role requires experience with Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) and test assets or metrology.

What you'd actually do

  1. Plan, check, set up, and operate Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) and/or process equipment
  2. Conduct routine tests, analyze data and document results
  3. Troubleshoot and recommend resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems
  4. Update equipment status using established systems and complete associated paperwork
  5. Ensure equipment is ready for calibration per metrology processes

Skills

Required

  • Export Control compliance requirements
  • 2+ years of experience calibrating and/or using Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE)
  • 2+ years of experience in test assets or metrology

Nice to have

  • 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a calibration laboratory
  • Associate’s degree or higher and/or related military training in electronics and/or Metrology
  • Metrology experience in electrical, pressure, and torque parameters (not to exclude other parameters)
