Skills

Required

  • PhD program in Photonics, Physics, Electronic Engineering, or related discipline
  • Knowledge of the physics of semiconductor photonics devices
  • Experience with integrated photonics design and simulation
  • Experience with characterization of photonics devices in an optical lab

Nice to have

  • Experience with optical device simulation tools (e.g. Ansys Lumerical, RSoft, MEEP, Tidy3D, TCAD)
  • Familiarity with free-space optics
