Campaign Prevent Specialist - Ice Propulsion and Thermal Systems (iptse)

This role focuses on preventing campaigns and recalls in automotive manufacturing by leading the Campaign Prevention Process (CPP) for ICE Propulsion and Thermal Systems. It involves conducting reviews (Deep Dive, Virtual Fresh Eyes, Physical Fresh Eyes) of vehicles and manufacturing processes, documenting and resolving concerns, and mentoring teams in problem-solving. The role requires a strong understanding of design for assembly/manufacturing and automotive engineering experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the ICE Propulsion and Thermal Systems Engineering (IPTSE) Campaign Prevention Process
  2. Perform & Report Out on Physical Vehicle Fresh Eyes Events in NA:
  3. Workstation readiness reviews.
  4. Lead Campaign Prevent Deep Dive 1 and 2 events and perform signoff when complete
  5. Perform Signoffs to requirement compliance

Skills

Required

  • BS in mechanical or electrical engineering or similar degree
  • 10 years of automotive engineering experience
  • Understanding of design for assembly and design for manufacturing
  • Proficient computer skills - Microsoft Office 365: XL, Word, PowerPoint, Project
  • Teamwork, leadership, communication skills
  • Organization skills and ability to plan and perform multiple tasks

Nice to have

  • PVT and/or Plant Launch experience
  • Understanding of vehicle assembly and manufacturing processes
  • Ford APQP and PPAP process (including FMEA, Control Plan, SCCAF…)

What the JD emphasized
