  4. Train and coordinate security personnel and vendors, fostering culture of professionalism and continuous improvement
  5. Lead and coordinate emergency response efforts for NYC campus, ensuring rapid and effective reactions to fires, medical emergencies, or security breaches

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in security operations leadership or campus security management
  • Based in or willing to relocate to New York City with ability to work on-site full-time
  • Comfortable supporting operations that may require a flexible schedule including 24/7 on-call rotation and after-hours response

Nice to have

  • Experience securing high-profile or high-risk campus environments in technology or research sectors
  • Professional security certifications such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional) or PSP (Physical Security Professional)
  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, or related fields
  • Background in technology company security operations or R&D facility security management
  • Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or executive protection with transition to corporate security
