This role is a Team Lead for the Fashion department at a Walmart Supercenter. Responsibilities include customer service, leading and training associates, managing department presentation and activities, and ensuring operational efficiency. It is a customer-facing retail management position.

What you'd actually do

  1. Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
  2. Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the Coach and the Store Management Team. Delegate, assist and follow-up on completion of daily Customer Availability process tasks.
  3. Assesses the overall presentation of Fashion Departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executing merchandising display changes where required.
  4. Ensures strong communication with associates, leads the daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift, and provides the team with updates, set goals, and track productivity.
  5. Assign Associates to support coverage and availability tasks in all areas of the store.
