Team Lead for Fashion department at Walmart, responsible for customer service, associate development, merchandising, and operational tasks. Focuses on ensuring a positive customer experience and efficient department operations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
  2. Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the Coach and the Store Management Team. Delegate, assist and follow-up on completion of daily Customer Availability process tasks.
  3. Assesses the overall presentation of Fashion Departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executing merchandising display changes where required.
  4. Ensures strong communication with associates, leads the daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift, and provides the team with updates, set goals, and track productivity.
  5. Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure and free of debris.
