Lead department manager for General Merchandise and Fashion at Walmart, responsible for customer service, team leadership, merchandising, and operational tasks. Focuses on ensuring a high level of customer service and efficient department operations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
  2. Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the General Merchandise and Fashion Assistant Manager and the Store Management Team.
  3. Assesses the overall presentation of General Merchandise and Fashion Departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executes merchandising display changes where required.
  4. Delegate, assist and follow up on completion of daily Customer Availability Process tasks
  5. Support with scheduling as needed.
