The Catalog Operations Manager at Uber will drive and scale catalog quality improvements for the Grocery & Retail business. This role involves working with retail partners to enhance catalog integration, lead go-to-market for new catalog features, analyze catalog performance using SQL and dashboards, and design scalable processes for quality improvement. The role sits at the intersection of operations, analytics, and product, aiming to improve customer experience and merchant performance through high-quality catalog data.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work with retail partners to improve the quality of their catalog integration with Uber Eats.
  2. End to end project ownership to drive improved catalog quality, including SKU expansion, product attribute enrichment, product searchability enhancement, etc.
  3. Lead go to market for new catalog product features in Japan, from launch preparation through post-launch stabilization. You will work in close collaboration with our Product, Engineering, Operations, and Sales teams, as well as directly with merchant partners.
  4. Analyze catalog performance data by using SQL and creating internal dashboards to identify quality gaps, and opportunities to drive improvement of key business metrics like add-to-cart conversion, average order size, item fulfillment rate, and more.
  5. Design scalable processes and workflows to improve catalog quality.
