What you'd actually do

  1. Drive category performance through effective catalog management and vendor engagement, including promotions, assortment optimization, SKU onboarding, and vendor onboarding
  2. Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Finance, Merchandising Operations, and Product teams to meet and exceed category goals
  3. Analyze economic and industry trends, particularly related to agricultural commodities and inputs, to inform forecasting and strategy
  4. Lead strategic initiatives and identify process improvements to increase efficiency across the Equine and Farm teams
  5. Support Category Managers in executing business priorities and delivering results across the broader Equine and Farm business

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Animal Sciences, Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field
  • Experience working with agricultural products, commodities, or animal health/nutrition categories
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have

  • familiarity with SQL
  • Proficiency in SQL or other data analysis tools
  • Internship or early-career experience in eCommerce, category management, buying, analytics, consulting, finance, marketing, agribusiness, or animal sciences
