Category Manager- Indirect Saas

Box is seeking a Category Manager for Indirect SaaS to lead negotiations, run RFX processes, build cost models, and partner with Legal, Security, and business leaders for SaaS and technology categories. The role requires experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and data analysis, with a focus on reducing risk and total cost of ownership. What you'd actually do

  1. Lead contract negotiations and vendor management for SaaS and tech categories, securing favorable commercial terms, SLAs, and exit protections.
  2. Run end-to-end RFX processes, supplier evaluations, and competitive bids; recommend supplier selections grounded in data.
  3. Build cost models and present insights that drive savings, efficiency, and outcome-based decisions.
  4. Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, orders, and software licensing agreements in partnership with Legal, Compliance, and Security.
  5. Accelerate vendor onboarding while ensuring policy, privacy, and security compliance.
