Cds Release Management Specialist (hybrid - Top Secret Clearance Required)

This role is for a Release Management Specialist at RTX, an Aerospace and Defense company. The specialist will plan, coordinate, and execute technology change deployments into production for the CDS enterprise environment, ensuring controlled and repeatable deployments with minimal business impact. Responsibilities include overseeing deployment plans and tools, coordinating cutovers and back-out plans, ensuring successful implementation and post-deployment stability, and partnering with stakeholders to communicate deployment status, risks, and outcomes. A Top Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead all CDS service deployment. activities, maintaining close alignment with CDS project portfolio activities and the Program Management Office (PMO).​​
  2. Oversee deployment plans and tool.​​
  3. Coordinates cutovers and back-out plans.​​
  4. Ensure successful implementation in the production environment and verifies post deployment stability.​
  5. Partner with CDS Process and Service Owners, and the Service Desk to confirm documentation, support models, monitoring, and escalation paths are in place, and communicate deployment status, risks, and outcomes to technical and business stakeholders.​

Skills

Required

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 8 years of experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum 5 years experience
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued TOP SECRET security clearance
