The role of a Critical Environment Program Manager in Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) involves overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in datacenters. This includes managing preventative and corrective maintenance, monitoring equipment performance, ensuring compliance, acting as an escalation point for facilities-related issues, managing projects, and driving cost/energy efficiency. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and proven experience in critical environment infrastructures or physical IT infrastructures, with fluency in Greek being a requirement.

What you'd actually do

  1. Establish strong working relationships with customers.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in a datacenter
  3. Ensure that electrical, mechanical, and/or fire/life safety equipment within the datacenter is operating at peak efficiency.
  4. Act as an escalation point for all facilities-related issues within the datacenter, escalating to the Data Operations Manager as needed.
  5. Management of small-to-medium projects from conception to completion

Skills

Required

  • Critical Environment infrastructures (e.g., UPS, Generator, AHU)
  • physical IT infrastructures (e.g., Servers, SANs, Networking, Capacity, DC Rack/Enclosures, structured cabling)
  • Greek language fluency
