Cell Culture Engineering Co-op

Johnson & Johnson Johnson & Johnson · Pharma · Malvern, PA +1

Co-op role focused on developing bioreactor Reduced Scale Models (RSM) by collecting and analyzing experimental data, performing data transformations, and applying advanced data analytics techniques. Requires a background in Chemical or Biological Engineering and Advanced Data Analytics.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collect and collate diverse experimental data sets across several bioreactor scales (e.g., 250mL, 5L, 500L, 2kL)
  2. Perform data transformation (e.g., via means of mass balance and kinetic modeling)
  3. Perform advanced data analytics (e.g., usage of Buckingham Pi theorem, Statistical Design of Experiments, Multivariate Data Analysis and time-series analysis)
  4. Apply an iterative and adaptive learning approach for experimental design and execution (e.g., model-based or model discriminate Design of Experiments)
