What you'd actually do

  1. Set up a new electrical product test lab for testing safety standards to perform regulatory testing according to applicable standards
  2. Revise existing and create new test and quality procedures for the new lab with assistance of regulatory manager
  3. Act as regulatory technical expert to support compliance with new & existing Fire projects
  4. Interpret regulatory standards and advise engineering teams so they meet product requirements
  5. Define product approval strategy in the areas of design, functionality and documentation

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or 5 years of experience testing fire safety products or NICET certification

Nice to have

  • experience working in a certified UL DAP, FM LABQUAL, or Intertek Satellite test lab
