Certification System Product Owner (associate, Mid-level, or Senior)

Boeing is seeking a Certification System Product Owner to develop, implement, and oversee software tools for certification compliance and safety. The role involves developing standardized test methods, coordinating with the FAA on regulatory issues, managing process documents, and ensuring technical coordination across products and functional areas. This is a product-focused role within an established enterprise, not directly building AI/ML models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develops and documents standardized test methods and processes to ensure repeatability and productivity
  2. Contributing cross-functional teams resulting in resolution of technical issues
  3. Coordinate technical messaging and partnering with the FAA on regulatory issues
  4. Developing strategic action plans and executing those plans through completion
  5. Own, manage, and have/develop technical aptitude to enable execution of process/procedure documents (BPM, BPIs, D6s, D950s, etc.)

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 2+ years of related work experience (for Associate level)

Nice to have

  • Experience working directly with the FAA and/or ODA on Type Certification projects
  • Experience dealing with regulatory agencies or federal regulations
  • Experience working with industry standards and regulations such as AS9100, Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Parts 21, 25 and 183, FAA Order 8100.15, and FAA Order 8110.4C
  • Experience using technological tools (e.g., PC's, web sites) and business system applications to manage, synthesize, and interpret data relevant to workloads, responsibilities, problem identifications and resolutions
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders
