This role is for a Change Management Project Manager at Northrop Grumman, focusing on leading strategic change initiatives within the Global Supply Chain organization, particularly those involving digital tool deployments and transformation efforts. The role requires developing and executing change management plans, assessing change impacts, driving adoption, and ensuring measurable outcomes. It is not directly involved in building or researching AI/ML models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans to support Global Supply Chain key strategic initiatives including major digital tool deployments across all sectors.
  2. Lead end-to-end business change activities for transformation and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring successful adoption and measurable outcomes.
  3. Assess the impact of change initiatives and develop tailored approaches to drive employee adoption and minimize resistance.
  4. Assess change impacts across processes, digital systems, stakeholders and culture, tailoring change approaches to minimize resistance and deliver results.
  5. Drive proactive collaboration with senior leadership, project teams, and key stakeholders to secure unified alignment and demonstrable backing for every change initiative.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Human Resources, Applied Project Management or related field and minimum 12 years of relevant experience OR Master’s Degree and 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of change management frameworks such as PROSCI, ADKAR, or Kotter’s 8-Step Change Model.
  • Experience delivering large-scale transformation programs and driving adoption across multi-business-unit, cross-functional environments.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, including presentation delivery, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programs related to change management.
  • Proven ability to support an evolving set of projects and priorities while maintaining a strong professional presence.

Nice to have

  • Experience in supply chain, aerospace, defense, or a similarly regulated industry.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise-scale, technology-driven change across complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Project/Program management experience and ability to work in an Agile environment.
  • Project Management Professional, Project Management Institute Certification a plus.
  • Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci Change Management Certification)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess change impact and effectiveness.
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to function independently, meet deadlines and achieve commitments.
  • Ability to obtain a US Government Secret security clearance.
