This role involves applying data science, machine learning, and analytics to extract technical insights from customer operating data in the industrial domain. The focus is on designing and developing data pipelines to support products, systems, and solutions, and building next-generation monitoring tools using AI/ML. The goal is to optimize industrial processes and improve customer experience through data-driven insights.

What you'd actually do

  1. Apply data mining to handle unstructured data to derive technical insights.
  2. Perform descriptive and inferential statistics to summarize datasets.
  3. Derive problem statement from ambiguous data, create a hypothesis, use analytics technology and tools to test hypothesis and form conclusions
  4. Analysis of large amounts of historical data, determining suitability for modeling, data clean-up and filtering, pattern identification, and variable creation, applying automated predictive analytics.
  5. Work with the team to innovate - next-generation BIG DATA monitoring tools (Analytics using exception-based /Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning) and build an operation dashboard for the GSC's sustainability & efficient operation.
