What you'd actually do

  1. Lead engineering transformation initiatives focused on accelerating PAC-3 production rates
  2. Drive design for manufacturability (DFM), design for testability (DFT), and design for assembly (DFA) improvements to support high-rate production
  3. Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to identify and implement changes in production systems, tooling, and processes that enable rate increases
  4. Develop and execute technical strategies to optimize product designs and production workflows for scalability and efficiency
  5. Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with rate acceleration and engineering changes

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in engineering roles supporting production or manufacturing environments
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams

Nice to have

  • 20 + years of combined education and relevant work experience (including advanced degrees, certifications, or technical training)
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • Proven experience leading design for manufacturability, testability, and assembly initiatives in high-rate production environments
  • Experience driving engineering transformation and process optimization
  • Strong background in production systems engineering, tooling, and manufacturing process improvements
  • Demonstrated success leading large engineering projects and cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and programmatic organizations
