Cohere is seeking a Chief of Staff to optimize sales operations, enable revenue growth, and ensure alignment between sales execution and company objectives. This role involves strategic planning, operational oversight, and cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product, and customer success teams. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in sales operations, business development, and strategy, preferably in AI, SaaS, or enterprise software, with strong analytical and leadership skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with the CRO to define and implement sales strategies, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  2. Streamline sales processes, including pipeline management, CRM optimization, and sales enablement tools.
  3. Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure cohesive go-to-market execution.
  4. Monitor sales KPIs, conduct data-driven insights, and recommend adjustments to improve conversion rates and revenue attainment.
  5. Contribute to sales operations, business development, and support functions, fostering a high-performance culture.
